At this point, your wardrobe is well-acquainted with the "cold shoulder" trend: If our spring/summer outfits could have an off-the-shoulder component, they most definitely did. Even as the weather creeped into fall, we found ways to incorporate shoulder-bearing tops into our autumnal wardrobe. The trend (and our commitment to showing off our neckline) was resilient—so much so, that it's still kicking for summer '17, but in a new, over-the-top iteration. The latest wave of the cold shoulder is all about volume, flare, and adornment. You can find early threads of this in the work of Jacquemus, Johanna Ortiz, and Ellery—or, in the #OOTDs of the Instagram-famous who have been all about eye-catching sleeves for some time now. The off-the-shoulder will still reign supreme this season, so shop the latest version in the slideshow, ahead.
