What is Michelle Obama planning to do with all her free time now that she has moved out of the White House?

After a much-deserved family vacation to Palm Springs and a self-imposed a break from social media, she has pledged to come back better than ever. The former First Lady took to her brand new Instagram account (her old account has been archived) today to announce that she will be going on a brief hiatus, but promised her many fans and supporters that she and Barack Obama are certainly not stepping out of the spotlight permanently.

"After an extraordinary 8 years, I'll be taking a little break," she captioned a touching image. "Will be back before you know it to work with you on the issues we care about."

The 44th President of the United States also echoed his wife's sentiments on Twitter, writing: "Hi everybody! Back to the original handle. Is this thing still on? Michelle and I are off on a quick vacation, then we'll get back to work."
