Michelle Obama appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday, wearing a luxe calf hair jacket by New York label Edun, a flowing pair of white wide leg trousers, and white Converse. She looked chic as always and her relaxed look proves that the athleisure trend is still going strong.
Whether is Adidas’ Stan Smiths, Nike Air Max’s, or a pair of classic Converse, sneakers are the only shoe that can immediately add a dose of attitude to any outfit. A pair of black pumps or gold sandals would’ve made this look a little too serious and stuffy—plus she was there to dance! The kicks served a dual purpose as she was on the show to to get down with DeGeneres and pals to the beats of Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk.”
