The British-born DJ/ model Chelsea Leyand has been known as one to openly speak out about her experiences battling Epilepsy and now the influencer is here with a new collaboration that directly benefits the cause. Chelsea Leyland has partnered with coveted handbag designer, Mark Cross, to create two exclusive bags for his fall 2017 collection where 20% of sales will be donated to the Epilepsy Society. The disease is the most common serious neurological condition one can have and affects the lives of over 65 million people worldwide. This is a cause close to Chelsea's heart as both she and her sister suffer from the disease.
This is the second collaboration for Mark Cross after working with DJ/designer Harley Viera Newton last year on an exclusive style, but the first time the designer has worked with a charity. Leyland worked with the design team to customize two of her favorite styles, the Grace Box and the Laura. Both bags combine a pale pink and navy blue python inspired by one of Leyland's favorite vintage swimsuits. See the limited-edition handbag below that will benefit the Epilepsy Society and pre-order the collection now on markcross.com.
