Liv Tyler Shopped Her Closet for Sci-Fi Film
It’s always a treat to close out fashion month with Miuccia Prada’s Miu Miu show. Today she showed lots of ruffled crop tops, perfect pencil skirts, and of course her ladylike coats (this time in plaid or silk with different floral motifs). Among those sat in an impressive front row that included Hailee Steinfeld, Shailene Woodley, and Lea Seydoux, was soft-spoken actress Liv Tyler, who has been friendly with the designer since she was a teenager.
When asked what she thought about the Spring-Summer 2015 collection today, here’s what she had to say: “I loved it, I thought it was beautiful. I always love all the textures and colors and prints. I know I can’t wear a lot of them but I secretly dream. The coats and the shoes were amazing. I have all of my Prada and Miu Miu things from the past 20 years. I just did a movie and I wore these white boots that Miuccia had given me in Milan, like, when I was 19 or something. I had to do a movie that was set in space in the ’70s, called Space Station 76, and I thought I have the perfect shoes! They were in a box and had never been touched.”
