Li Kun-cheng slams tabloid for pregnancy rumours
9 Dec - Taiwanese lyricist Li Kun-cheng recently denied rumours that his young fiancée, Lin Jing-en is pregnant with their child.
As reported on Singtao News, the 60-year-old, who gained notoriety by dating a girl 40 years his junior, issued a statement on Facebook, saying that he is saddened by the effects that the rumours had on Lin.
Li stated that the outrageous lie has severely affected Lin's mood and that she had been crying after the tabloids reported that she was pregnant. He then urged his Facebook friends to help reshare his post, adding that he has the right to take legal action against the parties involved.
Earlier, the 20-year-old Lin blasted reports that said she is two months pregnant and had secretly tied the knot with Li on 4 December 2016. The reports also claimed that the couple has been sending indecent photos and videos of them to their friends.
Li and Lin originally planned to get married on Lin's 20th birthday, but they have decided to postpone the wedding to a later date. Both are tight-lipped about the actual date of their upcoming wedding.
