Oscars 2017: Kirsten Dunst Rewears Her Favorite 2007 Christian Lacroix Heels on the Carpet

We all have that one pair of heels in our closet that we can’t part with — and Kirsten Dunst just dusted hers off for a very fashionable night out. The actress recycled her wear-everywhere Christian Lacroix ankle-strap pumps that she’s owned since 2007. She previously wore them at Cannes, the Met Gala and now, the Academy Awards red carpet!

Dunst teamed her go-to shoes with a strapless, high-low Dior gown featuring a statement train, plus a diamond necklace, side-swept up-do and red lip.

Back in January, the heels made their return at a Paris Fashion Week party, when she wore them with another blast from the past — white mini lace dress she originally wore 13 years earlier!

Dunst attended Chopard’s launch of The Garden of Kalahari collection in Paris Saturday in a vintage Christian Lacroix dress, which she first wore in 2004 at the Vanity Fair Oscars party, and very similar diamond necklaces. She switched up her shoe choice, pairing the look with her beloved black ankle-strap heels instead of the red pumps she first wore in 2004, and even topped it with a blazer for part of the night. And it turns out, the re-wear was 100 percent approved by her stylists, sisters Nina and Clare Hallworth.

The styling duo have been working with Dunst, 34, since her 2000 Rolling Stone photoshoot, and dressed for her first Oscars ever at the 2002 Academy Awards.

“Kirsten has an eclectic sensibility, at once modern and nostalgic. Her look is youthful, chic and classic,” the pair told PeopleStyle last year, during the actress’s stylish run at the Cannes Film Festival. “We love beautifully made, classic silhouettes. The options are then endless, as we work with designers who we esteem and have long-term relationships with.”

Her Lacroix mini moment definitely checks off the nostalgic box and marks a nice break from the dress hunt that exists during awards season.
