Kim Kardashian Wears a Furkini Designed by Kanye West

Kim Kardashian’s big news in 2015 was a new wardrobe. She told the world that her husband, Kanye West, was going to give her a sartorial makeover, and I (and most likely many others) have been waiting with bated breath to find out exactly what that means. Lucky for you, his guidance has finally been revealed.

On Tuesday, Kardashian posted a series of images to Instagram that feature her wearing a fur bikini. One is captioned “Furkini by Kanye,” which could only mean that the occasional designer (remember when he lent his talent to A.P.C.?) created the piece himself. She completed the look with matching furry boots.

The couple recently took a trip to Utah with friends this past weekend. And who wouldn’t wear a Baywatch meets cavewoman outfit to ski with friends? One can only assume (and hope) that the 34-year-old is wearing the skimpy fur look en route to a hot tub. (Though honestly, it’s an odd choice in swimwear considering she would exit the water looking like a wet dog.)
But while she looks good (even if a little digitally altered), not everyone is drooling over the reality star’s Racquel Welch in One Million Years B.C.-like look. ”Sad someone so beautiful chooses to create such an ugly legacy,” Dan Mathews from PETA said on Twitter. Whether or not the fur was real or faux is still a mystery.
But controversy aside, if this is what West has in store for his lady love in 2015, I personally can’t wait to see what else he has planned.
