Kelly Ripa is tearing down the walls surrounding cosmetic surgery, one Instagram comment at a time.

This week, Ripa’s husband, Mark Consuelos, posted an Instagram of Ripa sitting on a pumpkin. People in the comments praised the morning show host for looking beautiful and especially for her glowing skin. She jumped right into the comments to share her secret weapon — Botox. “Honey, thanks for the shout out,” she wrote. “The coat is from Isabel Marant for anyone who’s asking, but it’s a couple of years old. And for everyone saying such nice things, I just got Botox on Friday, and you just can’t beat fresh Bo.” She then added, “Oh and thank you @drrobertanolik.”

I call this photo. “Me punkin on me pumpkin” Enjoy….

Fans are loving Ripa even more for her honesty. Commenters are writing in to thank her: “Thank you for being the rare woman in the public eye who admits to Botox!” and “LOVE your honesty! But you sure don’t need the Bo!”

Ripa has spoken about injectables in the past, although she hasn’t always raved about Botox. Last year, she opened up on her show about a “bad Botox” experience that left her unable to smile. “I’m going to tell you a story I’ve never told anyone,” she said. “I got bad Botox about … what was it, a year ago? And it was bad. It did something to my good side, so then I had two bad sides. I’m not kidding!”

The experience left her looking like a stranger for six months. “I’m starting to look myself again, but there was about a six-month period where people were like: ‘What’s wrong with Kelly? She doesn’t smile anymore,’” said Ripa. “And I was like: ‘I am smiling!’”

It looks like she’s back in the injectables game with a doctor she trusts. Dr. Anolik, we have a feeling some new patients are coming your way soon.
