Katy Perry is Selling Left Shark Onesies for $129
Because DIY-ing a Left Shark costume is so last month, Katy Perry is now selling replicas of the Super Bowl celebrity’s outfit.
On Monday, the “Fireworks” singer tweeted that a onesie version resembling the large dancing fish could be bought online through her own ecommerce shop. The light blue one-piece suit features a shark’s face on the front, a hood, and KATY PERRY in big bold letters on the back. While many might jump at the opportunity to dress just like their favorite animal, they’ll probably be bummed to find out the look comes at a steep price: $129.
Now we know why Perry reportedly claimed trademark status on Left Shark and her representation handed out cease and desist letters to those attempting to sell their own versions of the aquatic character’s costume. God forbid the world world forget Perry’s Super Bowl performance—or anyone else make a buck off the show. Thank goodness there’s a way for super fans to identify themselves. And if you’re less than a super fan but still want to show your love, you can buy the commemorative T-shirt for just $25.
