Jennifer Aniston and Julia Roberts Show Their Sartorial Maturity at the ‘Mother’s Day’ Premiere
It’s kind of surprising that it has taken so long for Julia Roberts and Jennifer Aniston, Hollywood’s longstanding Girl Next Door titleholders, to star in a movie together. The pair are in Mother’s Day, the follow-up to Garry Marshall’s Valentine’s Day and New Year’s Eve. Funny enough, the actresses dressed alike, with the 48-year-old Roberts choosing a white shorts suit with a black collared shirt and Aniston, 47, selecting a black tuxedo skort number. They are both silhouettes that the women are comfortable with, outfits they’ve walked multiple red carpets in previously.
Perhaps it’s maturity behind Roberts’ and Aniston’s preferences for big events, but their safe ensembles paled in comparison to their young peers. Shay Mitchell, Britt Robertson, and Jessi Case all displayed fresh, fun, standout outfits.
