Judith Light Honored With the Elizabeth Taylor Award at ACRIA's Holiday Dinner

Last night, ACRIA took over the 69th Regiment Armory for their annual holiday dinner—evoking a theme of reconciliation and healing with an exquisite Putnam & Putnam floral design in the military space. The evening, which honored the Robert Mapplethorpe Foundation with their annual "Artists Ending AIDS" award, also celebrated ACRIA's acquisition of Love Heals: The Alison Gertz Foundation, with Casey Fremont Crowe, director of Art Production Fund, accepting the first Alison Gertz Young Leadership Award for her philanthropic efforts. Emmy and Tony-award winning actress Judith Light was presented with the namesake award of her hero, Elizabeth Taylor, by the iconic actress's own grandchildren. Both champions of philanthropy, most specifically AIDS awareness and research, have been supporters of ACRIA, and their continued work in motivating the art and fashion worlds to support HIV research and educational programs.
