It's been announced three new songs will be debuting in the live action version of Beauty and the Beast, including one sung by Celine Dion and a solo number for Dan Stevens's Beast. Stevens' version of that track hasn't come out yet, but today Disney released Josh Groban's.
Make no mistake: This is the most Broadway version of a breakup ballad, performed after the Beast lets Belle leave the castle. The lyrics are filled with heartache (the chorus, for example, is "Now I know she'll never leave me/Even as she runs away/She will still torment me/Call me, hurt me/Move me, come what may/Wasting in my lonely tower/Waiting by an open door/I'll fool myself, she'll walk right in/And be with me for evermore"). And then Groban performs it so emotionally, you'll feel the Beast's feels:
