Jennifer Lopez was spotted in Miami on Thursday night wrapped in a skin-tight white mini dress with a sky-high slit up the leg. But this frock was no designer piece — it was actually the “Loosen Up My Buttons Mini,” a rayon-nylon blend sold by e-tailer Naked Wardrobe for a mere $42. She’s still Jenny from the block, even after all these years.
Lopez was walking out of posh restaurant Casa Tua after a romantic dinner date with her reported new beau, professional baseball player Alex Rodriguez. She paired the white-hot one-piece with strappy gold sandals, a white wrist cuff, and bold red lips. Rodriguez, who wore a navy blue sweater, khakis, and sneakers for date night, has been inseparable from his triple-threat sweetheart ever since they were spotted on a not-so-private weekend escape to the Bahamas.
The curve-hugging number — modeled on Naked Wardrobe’s site by a J. Lo lookalike — is currently out of stock, and it’s not surprising. The star has actually been photographed in the dress before — in a photo she shared on her own Instagram in February. “After show feels…” she captioned the image, which showed off her insanely toned legs. With more than 1.2 million people liking the photo, it’s safe to assume a decent number of them were able to track down the Naked Wardrobe piece.
In fact, J. Lo appears to have a fondness for Naked Wardrobe, and has given the brand free promotion in the past by appearing in other looks by the retailer.
On Friday, the brand posted a photo to its Instagram of the singer rocking its “Get Tied Up In Me Crop Sweater,” also in Miami. Clearly, the star’s suitcase was stocked with Naked Wardrobe looks.
Almost a year ago, Lopez was spotted in an elevator wearing one the brand’s dangerously low-cut bodysuits; the brand’s bodysuits sell for about $36 and below. “When Jennifer Lopez wears ‘The NW Strapped In Bodysuit’ we die!!!,” the brand boasted when it Instagrammed a photo of the entertainer looking fierce in the cut-out catsuit.
But it doesn’t end there. In January, she was snapped lounging around in Naked Wardrobe’s “Feelin Oh So Tight” set, a two-piece consisting of a long-sleeve crop top and skin-tight leggings. The outfit retails for — you guessed it — $42.
And in May 2016, the brand spotted Lopez in another set of its bodysuit and leggings, this time in white, and cinched at the waist by an elaborate nay blue belt.

According to its website, Naked Wardrobe was founded by three sisters from Los Angeles, Calif. who wanted to provide stylish, affordable clothing to “fashion savvy women all around the world.” The brand says, “Naked Wardrobe’s dedication to fashion, style, and making our clients look and feel great is thought out carefully with each piece that is hand selected and designed.”
Other fashion-savvy women who have taken a shine to Naked Wardrobe include Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, Gigi Hadid, Kylie Jenner, and Selena Gomez, all of whom appear on the site’s homepage and Instagram feed in Naked Wardrobe outfits, which tend to be monochrome, simple, and fit like a second skin.
With this kind of celebrity following, a lot of Naked Wardrobe pieces will probably be seen for quite some time — and the good news is, at price points like these, you can stock your own closet with celeb-worthy looks. If only it were that easy to acquire J. Lo-level legs.
