Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez Lead the Paparazzi Around a European Vacation

Everyone needs a breather now and again—just a few days without the kids or responsibilities, to decompress, let loose, remember what the sun looks like. With summer in full swing—can’t you almost taste the hot franks served at Taylor Swift’s annual Fourth of July fest?—there’s no time like the present for a quickie vacation. You deserve it, probably. Unless you’ve done something truly unspeakable or you’re that guy running the country, you do.
You’re not the only one, though. Jennifer Lopez is just like you. She, too, deserves a breather. She’s one of the hardest-working women in film, music, and television between judging dance, playing cops and robbers, and living her greatest-hits album over and over again in Las Vegas. Can’t a workaholic get a little time off over here? Good news: she sure can!
Lopez and beau Alex Rodriguez—formerly a Yankee and a guy apparently born to wear suits—flew from Miami to Nice, France, last week, then hiked it on over to Monaco where they boarded a luxury yacht, and made it over to Èze on the French Riviera, where they grabbed some grub. The next day, they floated by Antibes, Cannes, and then St. Tropez for some yoga and a yacht dinner, per E!. Then on Friday, they bopped over to Paris for a touch of the Louvre and some dinner. They left Monday afternoon, Parisian time.

Paparazzi, who are people too, surely get vacations, too. Or maybe paparazzi have ever only known working vacations. They pay their way through fabulous holidays, thanks to the fabulous celebrities they capture along the way. “Have long lens, will travel,” as the saying goes.
If that’s the case, then how thoughtful of Rodriguez and Lopez to lead them on such an expansive European jaunt? The paps get to cross off yachting and Louvre-ing from the old bucket list, and they didn’t lose a dime. They can tell their children about the time they captured J.Lo in a monokini and A-Rod doing a cannonball off the coast of Antibes. It’s sweet almost, like the symbiotic celeb-and-paparazzi are on this vacation called life together. Except J.Lo and A-Rod are also on the real kind of vacation, which is the better option should one be in a position to choose. All that yachting did look relaxing.
