Janet Hsieh and husband release "Starting at the End"

6 Dec - Taiwanese-American model and TV personality Janet Hsieh has released yet another book, this time with husband George Young.

As reported on Epoch Times, the 36-year-old model, who made headlines last year after he and George decided to get married in the Antarctica and later went on a tour across the American continent, released the new book "Starting at the End", which documented their journey, both literally and metaphorically, since their wedding.

Speaking at the press conference to promote the book, Janet revealed that she and George have been friends for almost a decade, despite their personality differences.

"I am always a risk-taker, while George likes to stay in the hotel. He is also a deep thinker," said Janet.

It was George's idea that they should tie the knot in the Antarctica, although as a joke. However, the ambitious Janet took the joke as a challenge, which ended up turning it into a headline-grabbing event.

Janet also shared several interesting anecdotes about their journey, including one about George having insomnia in the Antarctica as he was worried of seals and penguins knocking over him.

"The process was full of headaches, tears, quarrels, frustration, anger. But the trip was a smooth one in the end," she said.

She also revealed that they later went on a honeymoon to Tanzania's island of Zanzibar, which Janet dubbed as one of the most beautiful places ever.

Janet Hsieh is no stranger to publishing books. She previously published her first Chinese-language travel book, "Traveling with 100 Toothbrushes", back in 2010, and later wrote two more titles, "Backpack to the Future" and "Au for You[19]".
