J.Crew's Next Designer Collaboration Is With...Band-Aid?

Belstaff, Lulu Frost, Face Stockholm — when it comes to collaboration, J.Crew always nails it. (Not much different from everything else they’re doing right now.) And with the brand’s latest matchup, the results are no less stylish and perfect — they’re just a lot less expensive. Introducing J.Crew-designed Band-Aids, available at J.Crew and on jcrew.com for just five dollars a box.

You can choose between two sets — Band-Aid Bandages by Crewcuts (shown above) or Band-Aid Bandages by J.Crew — both of which feature repetitive graphic patterns that are one part geometric abstraction, one part Magic Eye. And while the former set’s cartoon-like prints are geared more toward children, they’re actually my favorite of the two. How can you not smile at those lines of hearts and cartoony lightning bolts? And a Band-Aid that says “Je t’aime?” Probably the coolest way ever to cover your boo-boo — even if it’s the result of some very high, decidedly un-juvenile heels.
