The Internet Is Very Confused by a T-shirt at the Trump Tower Gift Shop
We all get what this shirt spotted Monday at the Trump Tower gift shop in New York City is getting at — it's not that complicated.
It's a witty diss at the mainstream media that Donald Trump has made clear is a failing pile of garbage and terrible at its job.

But it missed the chance to be a really great shirt all because of bad graphic design.

Instead of a funny take on the STFU phrase, the shirt reads, "Shut the fake up media." That makes no sense, as everyone noticed.
This shirt doesn't even make sense.

@IsaacDovere @drewharwell not even that good a shirt. Its clunky. Should just say shut the fake up. then on the back say #fakenews

On the Trump store website, the shirt is too new to be listed yet, so looks like anyone who wants to buy it will have to physically go to the store. But if you're shopping around for a "You're Fired" hat or golf balls, you're in luck.
