How to Make Buffalo Chicken Meatballs in Under 30 Minutes

If you’re like me, then come Sunday you’re probably more excited about the food than the game — and my favorite football-inspired snack has got to be buffalo chicken wings.

I’ve seen this classic combination of savory chicken and spicy sauce in so many different forms. From sandwiches, to dip, to pizza, to even tacos. So how about buffalo chicken meatballs?

Buffalo Chicken Meatballs

Prep Time: 8 minutes
Cook Time: 18 minutes
Total Time: 26 minutes

Servings: 4-5

Ingredients:

½ stick butter
½ cup hot sauce
1 pound ground chicken
1 egg
2 stalks minced celery
½ cup bread crumbs
½ teaspoon pepper
Blue cheese dressing
Celery sticks

Directions:

Preheat oven to 450°F.

Melt ½ stick of butter and combine with ½ cup hot sauce. #SpoonTip: If you didn’t know, that’s pretty much all that makes up buffalo sauce. If you want to get fancy, maybe add some garlic, minced chilli peppers, vinegar etc.

In a bowl add the ground chicken, egg, minced celery, breadcrumbs, pepper and a third of the buffalo sauce. Mix with your hands until you get a consistently sticky mixture.

Work the meat mixture into 10-12 balls and arrange on a foil-lined baking tray.

Bake for around 18 minutes until meatballs start to brown.

Top with remaining buffalo sauce along side blue cheese dressing (or ranch if you must) and celery sticks.
