Mattress buying is a notoriously arduous process. In theory, it should be easy—even relaxing—but in reality it’s confusing, stressful and intensely aggravating.
You decide you’d like to purchase a plush, soft bed, so you do your your research online, find the style and name of the one that sounds great, and head off to your closest major mattress retailer only to discover they have 20 soft, plush mattresses by the same brand and every store has its own unique style names for the mattresses they stock.
Tired of all the fuss involved, Wright Bedding founders launched the brand last year with the intention of offering “the world’s most comfortable mattress.” After two years of testing, and 27 prototypes, they launched the 1.27 mattress. One perfect mattress. Just one!
Wright reached mattress nirvana by involving a ton of sleep monitoring testers who tried out each sample. Their feedback resulted in a four-layer foam mattress that suits every person, no matter their softness/hardness preferences.

The top layer is the softest so you fall asleep in a nest-like cocoon, and sink into a more supportive firm layer as the night goes on. The idea is that you feel weightless and perfectly aligned, alleviating pressure aches.
The mattress also has something extra: temperature regulation. The quilted top fabric is textured to allow air to move under the sheets, and the foam is ventilated with mesh side panels so it essentially “breathes” and keeps you cool all night. Another bonus? The top quilted layer zips off so you can wash it whenever necessary.
There are no hidden extras in the ordering process either; When you pay for your mattress it includes free delivery, installation and removal of your old mattress. Of course you can install yourself if you like, but that doesn’t change the price in any way. You do get it sooner though. Wright will get your new mattress to you within 4-9 days, but if you choose to install yourself you can have it as soon as three days. In the event you don’t love your new sleep setup, you can return up to 120 days later, and they’ll even pick it up.

So yes, Wright has taken all the complications out of mattress buying. All you need to do is order your preferred size—they do the rest. Within days you’ll be enjoying a restful night’s sleep in your new bed. At $1,500, you can’t really beat that.
