Haim are headed out on tour with Taylor Swift this summer, but mostly the sisters, Este, Danielle and Alana, are just excited to have a pal they aren’t related to. “I’m just glad we have friends,” Este told Yahoo Style on the Grammys red carpet. “We don’t just have each other – we made a friend! You know how you get home from school, like the first day of school, and you’re like ‘Mommy, Daddy, I made a friend!’ That’s how we feel.”

The tour doesn’t kick off until July, but Haim are confident about one thing. “It’s going to be a party,” Alana said. “A party,” Este agreed, adding, “I don’t know if you can plan for what’s going to happen. It’s just going to be so much fun. We’re so excited.” So does that mean Swift parties? “I mean, she definitely loves to have fun,” Este said. Alana chimed in, “She loves to dance. We love dancing with her.

Swift and Haim recently posted an Instagram photo in honor of Groundhog’s Day where all four posed in Reformation’s now-iconic Bill Murray sweatshirts. “It’s a weird inside joke that we have,” Danielle said. The girls hope that its encouraged a jump in sales for Reformation. Este joked, “If that’s the case then Reformation can send me some swag.” Alana added, “I just want to be Bill Murray’s friend. That’s why we did it. We can tell our parents ‘Mom and Dad we made friends with Bill Murray!’ Then we’ll have a second friend that isn’t each other.”

Instead of bringing traditional dates to the Grammys, the trio actually brought along their parents, confiding that Mom and Dad were most looking forward to seeing Annie Lennox. “They’re pretty hippy, dippy rock and rollers,” Danielle added. “My dad’s pretty straight edge, but my mom likes to have a good time.”

“We’re also very excited about Annie Lennox,” Este noted. “We saw her at the Hollywood Bowl like three years ago. It was a family excursion. We’re big fans!”

Haim’s debut album, Days Are Gone, came out back in the fall of 2013 (and earned them a Best New Artists Grammy nod tonight). They’ve begun writing new songs but aren’t quite sure when those will actually emerge. “We write every day,” Este said. “You have to keep that muscle flexing. It’s exciting to think about people being excited about us making new music. We’re focusing more on songs and writing good ones and not so much the timeline. We just want to put out good shit. Good shit takes time, you know?”
