Gigi Hadid Says That Kris Jenner Was The Coolest Dance Chaperone Ever at the Met Gala

Most 18-year-olds go to prom. Gigi Hadid, her sister Bella, and her best friends Hailey Baldwin and Kendall Jenner went to the Met Gala… but the barely legal models aren’t appearing at the biggest party of the year alone.
“My mom [Real Housewife star Yolanda Foster] wasn’t there,” Gigi told Yahoo Style at the Met Gala. “So Kris [Jenner] was our chaperone.“
So… no spiked punch?
“Well, she’s kind of not a regular chaperone,” Gigi laughed. “Kris was our chaperone, but my mom and Kris are the same, in the sense that they’re always having more fun than we are.”
Gigi wore a blazing red Diane von Furstenberg gown and Maybelline makeup, “but I felt like my whole look was melting off in those lights,” she admitted. “It was so hot!”
Her strategy for lasting through the bash was simple. “Hope, prayer, and my sister Bella. We both had to work before we arrived, so the only reason I knew what she’s wearing [at first] was because of Instagram.”
