How to Get Saint Laurent’s Celeb-Favorite Glitter Boots for 98% Off

The most-coveted boots for fall are none other than Saint Laurent‘s sparkling, rhinestone-covered, glitter-tastic boots from its fall 2017 show. Upon their debut, the slouchy, knee-high boots nearly broke the Internet. Fashion editors, buyers, and just plain admirers from across the globe collectively displayed their awe, adoration, and near obsession for the Saint Laurent crystal glitter boots on social media.

Of course, Rihanna, being that she is Rihanna, got her hands on the fresh-off-the-catwalk boots before anyone else. RiRi proudly shared her obsession with the shoes on her Instagram page not once but three separate times.

Unfortunately for us plain folk, we will have to wait the usual six-month period between when a runway show finishes and the collection hits retail stores. According to WWD, the boots (which are handmade and feature 3,000 rhinestones on each foot) will retail for the average cost of a used car — $10,000, to be exact. To make matters worse, a waiting list surrounding the boots has already begun at Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue.

Nine West is introducing its own version of fall’s most coveted boots for only $199, aptly called “the Metallic Slouch Boot.” The resemblance is uncanny, but if it can save you $9,000-plus, why not?
