Spinelli Kilcollin’s line of fine jewelry combines a modern, minimalist aesthetic with detailed craftsmanship—and these alternative engagement rings follow suit. The under-the-radar brand has unveiled its spring/summer 2017 bridal collection, introducing gender-neutral customizable bands that will feature a solitaire-set diamond or stone of choice.

The bands were inspired by Yves Spinelli's wedding, and couples can purchase similar or matching styles while having the freedom to customize each for a personal touch. Partners can change the color of the gold, size of the stone or diamond, and the width of the band. In a concept exclusive to the brand, single rings are purchased for the engagement and later linked together after the nuptials. The symbolic linking of the bands represents the unity and connectedness of marriage.
“The symbolic power of the linked rings is incredibly strong,” Spinelli says of the ring’s unique design, recalling his own wedding to wife Dwyer Kilcollin. “Perhaps it took getting married ourselves to figure out how to manifest that symbolism into a collection of rings for others.”
Rings are valued from $1,200 to $30,000, depending on the design. Take a peek at the collection below, and visit Spinelli Kilcollin's site for more details.

The "Petra" ring is a brilliant solitaire diamond that gets a modern twist with two linked white-gold bands featuring pavé-set diamonds all around. The bands are linked with two white-gold connectors.
The "Juno" galaxy ring features two white-gold bands with pavé-set diamonds, linked together with a yellow-gold band and two yellow-gold connectors.
