There is only one episode remaining in season 7. The finale, which has a running time of 79 minutes, is titled The Dragon and the Wolf.

Where can I watch the trailer for the finale?

You can watch it right here. The 45-second trailer shows Jon Snow and Cersei Lannister finally meeting - at the Dragonpit. Jon, looking purposeful, tells Cersei, "There is only one war that matters, and it is here." Exciting stuff.

When does the finale air? 

The Dragon and the Wolf will be broadcast on Sky Atlantic on Monday August 27 at 2am, after a repeat of the penultimate episode Beyond the Wall. 

As usual, the finale will also be repeated on Sky Atlantic later on Monday, at the rather more sociable time of 9pm.

How many episodes will there be Game of Thrones season 8 and when will it air?

Season 8 will be the last series of Game of Thrones. The showrunners have reportedly planned for it to feature just six episodes.

The Season 8 premiere date has not yet been confirmed. Filming is expected to being in autumn, and if it continues for six months, and post-production takes as long as it did for Season 7, the final series may be ready in time for a September 2018 air date.
