This Game of Thrones Scene Is Even More Devastating When Set to Titanic Music

Warning: This post contains spoilers for Season 7 of Game of Thrones.

Sunday’s episode of Game of Thrones, “Beyond the Wall,” was heartbreaking enough, but one savvy Twitter user found a way to make that dragon death even more devastating: By setting it to the most dramatic song from Titanic, Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On.”

Seriously, even if you didn’t cry over Viserion’s death the first time, this clip will make you weep. It’s creepy how well the high notes fit in with both the dragon’s initial hit with the Night King's ice javelin and his descent under the water. It’s almost like they planned it.

Viserion’s death wasn’t the only moment from the sixth episode that was giving fans Titanic vibes. When Jon’s uncle Benjen came to save him from an almost definite death at the hands of the Wights, he gave up his horse for Jon and forced him to ride straight for Eastwatch, leaving Benjen behind. While Cold Hands’s action was heroic, it lead fans to wonder whether there really wasn’t room for both of them on that horse, just like there was totally room for Jack on Rose’s board in Titanic.
