On Saturday, Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter tied the knot. The theater director officially took the man who has legions of fans called Cumberbitches off the market, breaking millions of hearts—and on Valentine’s Day of all days. The wedding took place at a medieval manor on the Isle of Wight in England, People reports. Hosting their nuptials at such an old-fashioned setting sticks with the couple’s traditional aesthetic. To announce their engagement, they posted a notice in The Times under “forthcoming marriages.” But, not all aspects followed wedding day norms: Hunter is currently a few months pregnant. While wearing a white gown with a baby bump isn’t necessarily traditional, it’s certainly been done before.

In 2012, Drew Barrymore wed Will Kopelman while very noticeably pregnant with her first child, Olive. The actress wore a Chanel dress with ruffle neck detailing and black belt.

Beach weddings usually call for loose fitting gowns, and it came in especially handy for Alicia Keys when she wed Swizz Beats. The singer was pregnant with the couple’s son, Egypt.
