Fairy Tale Ice City Brings Your 'Frozen' Fantasies to Life

Many people have thought about living out their Frozen ice-royalty fantasies in Norway, but did you know there’s an actual ice city with castles and a slide that you can visit right now?

The Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival in Harbin, China, began Jan. 5 and continues until Feb. 25. Harbin, in China’s northernmost province, is one of the country’s coldest cities, which attracts an international ice-sculpting competition.

Want to go down a curving ice slide? You can do that here. Or imagine your own Frozen ceremony at the large ice castles. The fairy-tale atmosphere is so enchanting that 15 couples recently took part in a mass wedding here, wearing parkas over their fancy attire.

If you want to visit the festival, you could sign up for a three-day Ice Festival Tour that includes hotel accommodations, meals, and entrance fees for $499.
