He sure knows how to make an exit. On Friday night, designer Alexander Wang closed the Balenciaga chapter of his autobiography with a little help from his friends. Dispersed among the usual catwalkers were some faces that we typically see sitting front row, not strutting the runway. They came in the form of actresses (and Wang besties) Zoe Kravitz, Nicola Peltz, and Riley Keough (otherwise known as Elvis’s granddaughter).

Dressed in all-white and cream colored looks, the nouveau models didn’t look a step out of place among the more seasoned vets. First up was Peltz in a bustier dress with a chicly attached shawl that bowed in the front. Two looks later Keough strutted past with dark brunette tresses that made her virtually unrecognizable. She wore a silk T-shirt over a three-quarter length skirt and accessorized with a silk satchel, chandelier earrings, and lace flats. Not surprisingly, Kravitz, who is not only an actress but also fronts the band Lolawolf, had a more risqué ensemble of a sheer lace dress which was worn with a in a very French way with cute knickers. (Her best accessory were her many tattoos.)

We’re not surprised Kravitz made the coveted lineup. Just last month Wang told us that out of all of his celebrity pals she was the person that he is closest to. “Zoe is probably the one person that I’ve met and is actually someone that I really hang with,” he said. “We see each other every time she’s in town or I’m in town.”

Wang, who is leaving the label to focus on his own eponymous brand, sent the girls down the runway to strains of “Going Back to Cali” by Biggie Smalls and “California Love” by Dr. Dre and 2 Pac. It felt like a slightly defiant act for Wang’s final bow. Not that he or his angelic-looking Hollywood pals were concerned about that.
