Duchess of Cambridge dons sombre look for Grenfell Tower memorial service
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were just two members of the Royal Family to attend the Grenfell Tower memorial service on Thursday morning.
Held at St Paul’s Cathedral, the hour-long service was attended by over 1,500 people to honour the 71 victims of the Grenfell Tower fire six months ago.
The Duchess was suitably dressed in dark colours, choosing a £920 military-style coat by Carolina Herrera, wide-brimmed floppy hat and suede navy heels. Matching gloves and a small clutch finished the sombre look.
She has been an avid supporter of the people affected by the fire, joining families on Tuesday to celebrate the work of a charity helping the Grenfell victims.
Kate and William also visited victims of the fire a few days after it took place in June.
Kate and William were joined by Prince Harry, Prince Charles and Camilla along with Prime Minister Theresa May.
As well as royal and political figures, the families of the victims and survivors of the tragedy were in attendance.
