How to Smell Like a Fashion Editor

From the fashion legend who delivered lines like “Style, all who have it, share on thing: originality” and “Unshined shoes are the end of civilization,” comes 5 new fragrances. Diane Vreeland was indeed one the most influential fashion editors of all time, armed with bon mots and a distinct eye. She was at the helm of legendary magazines like Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue, where she turned up the glitz and glamour to a full throttle 10. Vreeland worked with photographers such as Richard Avedon and David Bailey who shot a wide cast of characters from Mick Jagger to Twiggy. In her retirement, the tireless fashionista took over the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum and the rest is history.

Twenty-five years after her death, her grandson, Alexander Vreeland, has collaborated with some of the best perfumers and designers in the industry to create five iconic fragrances that pay homage to this legendary lady. The scents, named after her signature sayings including Absolutely Vital (rose and wood notes) and Perfectly Marvelous (with hints of jasmine and cashmere), are available at Neiman Marcus and other select stores.
