Denis O’Hare Kicked Up a Leg in Louboutin Platforms on the Golden Globes Red Carpet

We’ve got to hand it to Denis O’Hare. It’s not easy to stand around in heels all night, but the American Horror Story actor was so comfortable in these Christian Louboutin platform sandals, he even showed off some fancy footwork (and a cute pedicure) on the Golden Globes red carpet.

And O’Hare’s had plenty of practice in pumps. This season in American Horror Story: Hotel, the actor plays Liz Taylor, a transgender hotel employee who always comes through looking glamorous from head to toe — with killer eyeliner to boot. O’Hare had to wear a lot of high heels for the role, so it’s no surprise that taking a turn down the carpet in these babies (which look to be around 5 or 6 inches high) would be a breeze for him.

As for the rest of his ensemble, O’Hare went with a checkered jacket, white shirt, black tie, and matching trousers. We’re glad he decided against the typical lace-up oxford or smoking slipper to deliver a memorable red carpet moment, and that he instead provided another example of how a fierce pair of heels can really transform a look.
