We know how it is. You’re stuck at your desk and the day seems to be going on forever. Your mind starts to wander — at first to “anywhere but here,” but then to exotic, faraway lands where your everyday problems and stress melt in the presence of true paradise. … the Imja Khola River in Nepal. This river is on the trekking route to Mt. Everest and it’s one of the stirring sites you see as you make your way toward the world’s tallest mountain. You’re not quite standing on top of the world here, as you would be if you were to reach Everest’s peak. But imagining the views from this glorious trek is enough to put any daydreaming hiker on cloud nine.
