David Bowie’s son Duncan Jones welcomes new baby into the world
David Bowie may be gone, but his legacy and his family lives on thanks to a new arrival!
On Friday, Bowie’s filmmaker son Duncan Jones, and Duncan’s wife Rodene Ronquillo, announced the arrival of their son!
Jones also revealed that the new member of the family bears a bittersweet tribute to Bowie i, as he’s been named Stenton David Jones. Aww.
Jones revealed that Baby Stenton’s birth happened exactly 6 months after the passing of his famous granddad (the late and great David Bowie).
Jones also sent some Twitter love to his amazing wife Rodene:

The pair first announced their pregnancy back in February via Twitter in a sad yet sweet message, paired with an adorable cartoon by Jones.

Jones and Ronquillo have been married since 2012, on an eventful day when Ronquillo found a lump in her breast. Jones summed up their nuptials in the following tweet:
“We were a little overwhelmed by the news, cancer, & election day so decided to make it set, ran down to the courthouse and got married!”
This is clearly a family that knows how to make it through difficult ups-and-downs with humor, gusto, and a lot of love. Congratulations to the happy family! We’re sure granddad is looking down from the stars and super proud!
