Spring Breat at Hotel LaBelle
Patti Labelle and Artem Chigvintsev did the quickstep to Martha & the Vandellas’ “Heatwave,” which meant a “return to Hotel LaBelle,” which seems to be an actual thing? Why does she have a hotel and why do her dancers live there? Perhaps that is a mystery that will be revealed at the end of the season. So while wearing white palazzos and a matching tunic, Patti lounged “poolside” waiting for Artem, in his best Miami Vice white suit – with turquoise lapels and no shirt, of course – to come and rescue her from her boredom. It was a cute dance, because Patti is always cute, but then Carrie Ann was all “you’re the most consistent performer,” which I’m sure is a thing you can say, but is consistence a good thing when it’s not followed by “good” or even “great”? She gave them an 8, which is definitely the highest score they’ve had so far, and then at the end Patti told everyone to buy her BBQ sauces. And then at the end, Patti went home. You guys, I’m sorry.

People are tired and the concept’s just not good enough. Still, we get to watch Robert and Kym’s relationship develop and Rumer continue to take over the world. With that, let’s take a look at what happened this week! (Spoilers Ahead)
