Collaboration of the Week: Woolrich and The Hill-side's Bags are Hipster Heaven

We at Yahoo Style are not always gushing about the Gigis or the Kendalls of the world – once in a while, we like to show some love for the boys out there, too. And this week’s collaboration is the perfect mashup for the hipster gentleman in your life.

The Hill-Side is a men’s clothing and accessories branded founded in 2009 by brothers Emil and Sandyin Cosilothe in hipster central: Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Woolrich, of course, is one of America’s oldest and most-loved, specializing in functional-but-stylish outdoor clothing. Together, they bring you a marriage of utilitarian, modern bags with the expertise of construction by the Woolrich brand – and the result is an art director’s dream!

The collection will have five styles of bags – the daypack, backpack, tote bag, weekender duffel, and briefcase – and each of them filled with small but carefully thought out details that is designed to make life easier on the go.

On the briefcase, the straps at the back are extendable so a jacket can be rolled up and tied in. Or, if you’re heading out of town for the weekend directly after work, throw in a Woolrich blanket which will sit perfectly on the bag.

Prices start at $95 for the day pack and the weekender is the most expensive at $175. Yes, we think this might be the perfect gift for the holidays – for yourself or others!

The new line of The Hill-Side for Woolrich bags are available now at woolrich.com and thehill-side.com, at select retailers, and at Woolrich John Rich & Bros. retail stores in SoHo and Boston.
