Chrissy Teigen Defends Leaving Baby Luna One Week After Giving Birth

Celebs these days tend to have it pretty rough, with many facing criticism no matter what they do thanks to the Internet letting the world know where they are at any given time.

Chrissy Teigen is the latest star to fall victim to online trolls, with the star facing backlash after she and her husband John Legend went out to dinner one week after Chrissy gave birth to their daughter, Luna.

And obviously people had something to say about the possibility of Luna being left with a friend/ relative/ babysitter at such a young age.

Defending her decision, and refusing to explain herself, Chrissy shared a screenshot of a variety of messages that she’d received after going out to eat, which read:

“She’s hitting the streets already??? D*mn, these so called celebrities want to show off so bad after giving birth.

"Spend time bonding with your baby and not let the nanny or babysitter raise them!”

“Wow, who do you really trusrt with your week old baby? Ain’t nothing that important that you have to go out.”

“That spotlight pull be strong. One week. Who wants to leave a one week old baby to go to a bar?”

Chrissy captioned the shots with: “I went to dinner. People are p*ssed. Good morning!”

She then referenced a rather unsavoury conversation within the comments about whether or not Chrissy still had an “after birth smell”, adding: “Talking about vagina smells in the comments. What in the.”

Chrissy also slammed other critics, writing: “‘I never wanted to leave my daughter, I love her, BUT THAT’S JUST ME’ - the passive aggressiveness is real!” before making light of the criticism by telling one follower that she couldn’t find Luna when the fan asked how she was doing.

Just another day in the life of a female celebrity, eh?
