What Your Favorite Halloween Candy Says About You
Halloween candy can do more than give you a sugar rush on October 31— it can also predict which celebrities you like or don’t like.
Research firm Ranker analyzed data collected from polling people about their favorite Halloween candy and cross referenced the results against its other consumer stats to see how people’s candy preferences correlated to their celebrity preferences.
For example, Ranker found people who voted in favor of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are favorable to Ryan Gosling and Mila Kunis, but disliked Sarah Jessica Parker.
Fans of Twix candy bars love them some Bill Murray and Jennifer Aniston. Skittles fans are sweet on Jessica Biel and Louis CK. However, people who like Kit-Kat Bars are not fans of “Batman Begins” star Ben Affleck or Angelina Jolie. And people who love Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (like most of America) are the most likely to dislike the Kardashians.
Perhaps most surprising is this stat: fans of M&Ms do not like the rapper Eminem. Think about that.
