Flickr photo of the day: Photobomb as art

There was once a time when we said someone inadvertently ruined our photo. Today it is an art form and there are websites devoted to nothing but photobombs. Urban Dictionary, the hipster’s guide to etymology, defines a photobomb as, “To drop in a photo unexpectedly, to hop in a picture right before it is taken.” Or “An otherwise normal photo that has been ruined or spoiled by someone who was not supposed to be in the photograph.”

Here is a excellent example of a photobomb taken on Gunga Beach, in Alagoas, Brazil, by Lua Enluarada. Technically it’s a “double-photobomb,” but the couple riding the ATV at the top of the photo is only a minor “photo-bomblet,” while the dude on the left is weapons-grade Photobomb.
