Blue Ivy Carter has outdone herself — yes, we’re referring to a five-year-old’s style résumé. Remember when Beyoncé’s daughter wore a $9k-plus Mischka Aoki gown from the company’s spring/summer 2015 collection to the 2016 MTV VMA Awards, almost outshining her mom? Well, she’s done it again — but this time, she went custom.

Last week Mischka Aoki, a luxury children’s clothing brand, worked with Beyoncé’s team again, this time to create a customized dress for her daughter to wear to the Wearable Art Gala Saturday. “One of Beyoncé’s stylists, Manuel Mendez, contacted us to create a custom-made dress for Blue for a special art gala, we were of course excited to work again with them,” a representative for the brand tells Yahoo Style. They were instructed to “create a structured dress as walking art.” Cool. No big deal. All they had to do was create floating art for Beyoncé’s daughter — that’s not intimidating at all.

Handling it like the pros they are, the Mischka Aoki team turned right away to their “Her Royal Highness” dress, which is from their spring/summer 2014 collection and can cost anywhere between $8,405 and $10,637.

This dress is a limited edition piece from Mischka Aoki’s exclusive Swarovski range. The fuchsia satin tulip minidress has a bejeweled neckline and an embellished skirt “drowning in exuberant flowers and thousands of Swarovski Crystals.” And it definitely fits the “work of art” criteria; according to the website, it requires “hundreds of hours of painstaking handwork to complete.” Sounds pretty impressive to us. But it wasn’t enough for Blue and her mom.

“Upon discussing the options with Mendez, he brought the idea back to Beyoncé for her approval, and we were then told to add butterflies to the dress so that it seems like the butterflies were floating and flying around the dress,” the rep tells Yahoo Style.

So, they did as they were told, added a bunch of floating butterflies to Her Royal Highness for her royal highness, turning the skirt into something like a rose garden.

The team was clearly pleased; Blue took to the carpet in the stunning number with matching shoes and lipstick.

The first Wearable Art Gala was hosted by Richard Lawson and his wife, Tina Knowles-Lawson, and the singer showed her support, along with her husband, sister, and former bandmates Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland.

The garden theme was consistent through the generations. Blue matched her mom, who was also donning a wearable garden of sorts, but hers was on her head. Beyoncé donned a huge butterfly-infested flower crown with a tight red dress while her mom wore a gown that seemed to be made of leaves.
