Blake Shelton's newest album, If I'm Honest, drops on May 20, and everything that we know about it so far indicates that the album's tracks live up to its title. Not only did he spill his love for girlfriend Gwen Stefani in their duet "Go Ahead and Break My Heart" on The Voice! Monday night, he also made some not so thinly veiled comments about ex Miranda Lambert at the iHeartRadio album release show at The Honda Stage in L.A.

While he didn't mention his ex by name, he made it pretty clear that the song, "I Bet You Still Think About Me," was directed at her and expressed how he felt about the dissolution of their four-year marriage.

"It's basically what it sounds like," Shelton told E! News. "At some point whether you go through a divorce or a breakup or whatever, once you get past the anger and the frustration of it all, you kind of go into the sad part of it where it's just like, 'Gosh, how come that didn't work out?'" And that's what this song is about. Even though stuff didn't work out, I bet you miss me a little bit. It's a sad song."

It sure is, but what is country music if not a little bit of regret, a little bit of melancholy, and a whole lot of well wishing and kindness?
