Blake Lively Named a $860 Leather Diaper Bag After Her Daughter

Blake Lively would never disappoint Anna Wintour — even though Preserve.us could’ve used more time to launch, she knew she couldn’t call the editor in chief and say, ‘I need six more months’ — and a new bag the actress co-designed definitely wouldn’t do that. Just look at its ridiculous price and unpracticality for proof.

A leather bag, made in collaboration with Lively’s lifestyle destination platform and Sandast, was custom made by Blake herself. The hand-distressed and handcrafted leather and premium plaid lined tote is a celebrity-approved baby bag, selling for a cool $860. When lugging around diapers, bottles, wipes, and binkies, it’s apparently important to hold them all in an exorbitantly priced and well-crafted carryall, despite the high probability of damage. The bag is available in both cognac and blue and is named after her daughter, James Reynolds, who is nine months old.

While Gwyneth Paltrow really doesn’t like that she gets compared to Lively, Reese Witherspoon, and other celebrities with side-hustles, the question still has to be asked…Which bags are more ridiculous: Goop’s $1,695 ‘90s hip-hop clutches or Lively’s leather bag?
