Beyoncé Releases New Behind-the-Scenes 'Lemonade' Photos
Four months after releasing Lemonade, Beyoncé is sharing a personal, inside look into the creation of her visual album with new behind-the-scenes photos on her website. And as if that wasn't enough, she also dropped new merchandise in her store, including sweatshirts, phone cases, leotards and iron-on patches emblazoned with lemons (obviously) and song lyrics like "Boy Bye" and "Hold Up."
The photographs, which she posted on Saturday, go beyond traditional music video stills. For starters, there's an image of Bey frolicking in UGGs (yes, UGGs) with that yellow Cavalli dress, outtakes of Serena Williams getting her twerk on, and intimate family snapshots of Blue Ivy and Jay Z playing football.
The images are categorized by the song in which they appeared on the album, along with a word and definition that characterizes the tune. (For example, "Freedom" is described with: "HOPE, noun | belief, faith promise, and to cherish a desire with anticipation.")
Take a look at the shots below, and head over to Beyonce.com to see them all.
