Beyoncé Just Made the Color Pink Look the Best It Ever Has

Beyoncé's maternity style is better than ever, as she proved in an on-trend blush pink ensemble during a recent outing with daughter Blue Ivy.

If there were ever a time to take a break from dressing up, it’d most certainly be during pregnancy: Stilettos and swollen ankles do not get along, so it's only natural to prefer wearing leggings rather than pants. And hey, maybe Beyoncé does rock that type of look sometimes—however, her recent outing to the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in New York was not one of those times. And we're endlessly grateful to her for sharing the evening's outfit with the world.

Queen Bey showed off her maternity style chops in a formfitting, ankle-length cream dress that hugged her growing stomach beautifully. She accessorized with Alberta Ferretti embellished gold pumps and a gorgeous A.F. Vandevorst blush trench coat to fend off the cold, later posting two Snapchat videos of her ensemble to Instagram (yes, folks: Bey does have a secret Snapchat). Also in the videos was five-year-old Blue Ivy, who matched her mama in a sweet lace frock in the same on-trend rose hue.

On top of her flawless jacket, Bey's makeup was also perfectly pink, as evidenced in another selfie captured from her Snapchat to the Beylite Instagram.

It's clear Beyoncé is the leader of the pack when it comes to styling this muted blush shade, but it happens to be one of this spring's most prevalent and wearable trends. For instance, it's the exact hue of Rihanna’s recently launched Fenty x Puma bow slides, the follow-up to her immensely popular fur slides (which sold out in less than 24 hours when they launched in April 2016). The dusty rose shade is even making its rounds in the beauty world, as evidenced by ColourPop’s new (and super Instagrammable) Pink Collection. The takeaway: it's time to get your hands on some pale pink ASAP.

Of course, since the Beyhive is on baby watch, it's only a matter of time before fans begin speculating that the star's girly get-up could be a nod to her babies' gender (last week, many guessed that the earrings she wore to Richard Lawson's 70th birthday party implied the babies will be boys). Whether or not the rumors prove true will be revealed in time–all I can say for certain is: as far Beyoncé's maternity style goes, she's still the queen. All hail.
