Famed French editrix Carine Roitfeld has taught us so much already this year. First there was how to transform your back brace into the world’s chicest corset, then there was the primer on jolie laide (“pretty-ugly”) and how a young model with a mouth full of braces actually makes for a perfect cover star. Imperfect beauty has been Roitfeld’s bent of late which dovetails nicely with her latest mega-editorial: an extensive portfolio in Harper’s Bazaar that features some of her favorite gals–like Gigi Hadid and Anna Cleveland–wearing high fashion looks with outré makeup.
