Oh dearest Corinne... We were sad (ok, not that sad) to finally see her make her recent grand exit on The Bachelor. But although she left the franchise without a big ol' Neil Lane engagement ring (a major must-have for Bachelor Nation brides-to-be) from Nick Viall, the season 21 villain might still be rocking a special sparkler of her very own. Reports are now surfacing that Corinne Olympios is—get this—engaged!
This isn't the first time the 24-year-old reality show star sparked engagement rumors. Back in January, before Olympios was eliminated, she was spotted on Instagram wearing a can't-miss-it diamond ring on that finger, causing fans to freak thinking that she actually—gulp—won The Bachelor season and Nick Viall's heart. However, it was later revealed that the sparkler belonged to a friend and Olympios was subsequently cut from the show.
However, there is reportedly another man in Olympios' life with whom she's getting serious with. Very serious. In fact, according to Us Weekly, the pair is actually engaged!
Although Olympios recently told the gossip mag, point blank,"I'm not engaged... It's just that people love to talk, I guess," a former fling of the Miami native is currently claiming that she's in fact a bride-to-be.
Keith Berman, who reportedly dated Olympios two years ago, opened up to Us Weekly, claiming that Olympios told him of her secret engagement when they saw one another in L.A. last month.
"She literally pressed upon the fact to me that they were still together," Berman said of Olympios and her longtime on-again/off-again boyfriend (and now possible-fiancé). "She said to me, 'We're still together. I don't want anyone to know—you have to keep this a secret for me.' And I said, 'OK, I'll do whatever you want.' That was what she had told me in person." Looks like someone didn't keep their word...
So why is Olympios keeping the alleged engagement so hush-hush? "She didn't want people to think she was on the show for the wrong reasons," explained Berman.
And just yesterday, Berman also went off on his blog, writing "Your bachelor stint was a complete sham and now the whole town knows it! You HAD A FIANCÉ THE ENTIRE SHOW! You FAKED THE WHOLE THING!"
Hmm... Sounds like someone's pretty salty over all this (cough, cough Berman...). So maybe let's take this engagement rumor with a grain of, well, salt.
Let's not start planning Corinne's reception just yet, y'all. (Although cheesy pasta is obviously on the menu.)
