Impress your dark and gothic Instagram followers this winter with an all-black Christmas dinner.

Set up by rum brand Kraken, a pop-up restaurant will hit London in the first week of December. Costing £25 a ticket, you can enjoy a wide range of charcoal-hued food from beef to potatoes along with exclusive dark cocktails.

Wondering how the meal has been made so dark? Well, the entirely natural menu has been designed by Beauty and the Feast with all ingredients being either naturally black or darkened using edible elements such as squid ink.

In fact, the decorations will be completely black too so you might as well go the whole way and dress to the theme. The only semblance of festivity will be the flurry of fake snow that falls as you eat.

If your interest has been piqued, here’s the entire menu:

– Black Beast branded Devon red rare roast beef served with black beef dripping gravy
– Kraken-smashed black heritage potatoes
– Black heritage carrots roasted with cumin and honey
– Winter spiced cabbage
– Black pudding and charcoal bread stuffing
– Monstrous black bean and mushroom loaf
– Rich spiced Kraken Christmas pud

What a way to spread Christmas cheer.

The event will be held in Hoxton at Beagle, 397-400 Geffyre Street on 5-7 December. Dinner will be served at 7.30pm each night with the Kraken Rum Bar open from 4pm until midnight.
