Amy Schumer Enjoys Fourth of July in Patriotic Bikini Snap

Amy Schumer is in favor of the bikini-clad Fourth of July photo.

On Monday, the actress took to Instagram, sharing a pic on a beach adorned with American flags, in which she rocks a black and white two-piece swimsuit, accessorized with dark sunglasses.

"An American treasure," Schumer, 35, captioned the snap.

Despite looking great in her most recent post, the candid comedienne has been open about her struggles with body image, revealing that she's only just become comfortable in her own skin.



"For women, we're taught to eat less until we disappear. And trained to believe that if you don't look like everyone else, then you're unlovable. And men are not trained that way," Schumer said in her July 2015 Glamour cover story. "Men can look like whatever and still date a supermodel.

"I'm proud of what I said. I think it's good to see somebody saying: I have a belly. And I have cellulite. And I still deserve love. And to catch the old D. And to not apologize."

Schumer joins a handful of celebs who have shared bikini photos to celebrate Independence Day, including Pamela Anderson and Cindy Crawford, who both took to Instagram and shared patriotic throwback photos.
