Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski spent last Sunday eloping, Sadoski revealed on the Late Late Show last night, after introducing Seyfried as his wife.
"We just took off into the country with an officiant, just the two of us, and we did our thing," he told James Corden. Of Seyfried, he added "I mean, listen, she's the person I love, admire, and respect most in the world and I know that you guys are close friends and she would want you to know so just keep it quiet, don't tell anyone…" Corden laughed.
The two wrote their own vows, Sadoski said. "It was beautiful. It was everything that it should be. It was just the two of us talking to each other." He also was glad it was just the three of them: "It's great, it's kind of perfect. [The officiant finishes], then you take the dog and you walk through the country and go home. And you like have your life. We went out to dinner, we did great, it was awesome. We had a great day. It was perfect."
He also touched on Seyfried's pregnancy. He's not ready to be a parent, "no, not at all. How can you be? I'm more excited about this than I've ever been about anything in my life. I'm also more terrified about this than anything I ever have been in my entire life." Though that's the way it should be, he agreed.
Before the show, Seyfried posted her own Instagram of her husband, teasing the "nice things" he was going to talk about with Corden. Fans have flooded with post with congratulation messages:
