Amal Clooney's Lake Como Date Night Style Is Oh So Boho

Amal and George Clooney have been on-the-go all summer long. Between glamorous red carpet appearances in Cannes, to meeting the Pope (NBD) when they were honored for their charity work, to “ causal” date nights, they’ve been jet-setting around Europe in style all season. But she saved the best for her husband’s favorite place on earth: Lake Como.

Amal has a history of bringing out her most fabulous fashion for Italy, and this time around Amal packed her suitcases full of gorgeous pieces (there’s rarely a time she doesn’t!). For date night over Fourth of July weekend, she donned a red, white and blue pleated dress for dinner at Villa D’este’s Grill restaurant. The maxi featured a halter neckline with cloud-print pattern throughout. And while the look is relatively low-key for her, she gave her accessories game some glam with golden drop earrings to highlight her statement-making choker necklace.

Last week for another dinner date with her hubby, she went sexier, wearing a black two-piece ensemble with a flowy crop top featuring off-the-shoulder detailing and a tight pencil skirt with matching crochet detailing. Sky-high stilettos and even more over-the-top glam gold chandeliers added to her “bohemian goddess” vibe.

And, naturally, she had her enviable blowout intact throughout, further adding to her air of mystery: How she keeps her hair so perfect regardless of how many boat trips she’s taken is a question we may never have answered.
